Makerere University is hosting the Alliance for African Partnership (AAP) Annual Consortium Meeting from Monday 9th September 2024 to Wednesday 11th September 2024.
The Alliance for African Partnership (AAP) is a consortium of 10 leading African universities, a distinguished research network for African research institutes, and Michigan State University (MSU) that builds on MSU’s over 60-year history of collaborating with African institutions.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Barnabas Nawangwe is the AAP Advisory Board Chair.
The Annual Meeting will also witness the launch of the Centre of Excellence for Sickle Cell Anemia and Other Neglected Tropical Diseases and a special announcement on the Oliver Reginald Tambo Africa Research Chair Initiative (ORTARChI) for Infectious Diseases.
