The Ministry of Health, in collaboration with Makerere University School of Public Health (MakSPH), with funding from the United States Government, will on October 1, 2026 officially release the Uganda Population-Based HIV Impact Assessment (UPHIA 2025) Preliminary Results.

The results will provide an updated national picture of HIV prevalence, incidence and viral load suppression. They will help show how far Uganda has progressed in reaching people with prevention, testing and treatment services, and where gaps remain.
