Makerere University School of Public Health (MakSPH) invites you to join virtually for the dissemination of findings from its study on a salon-based integrated digital intervention designed to promote uptake of self-care-oriented family planning in Mayuge District.

The study, led by Dr Justine Bukenya and funded by the Government of Uganda through the Makerere University Research and Innovations Fund (Mak-RIF), assessed the feasibility and usability of a toll-free interactive voice response (IVR) system that linked salon clients with qualified family planning providers for confidential information, counselling, and support.

Health workers, family planning practitioners, salon operators, district leaders, researchers, students, and others interested in digital and reproductive health can join the discussion.
