The Implementation Science interest network at Makerere University invites you to a journal club seminar scheduled to take place on; Monday, 10th June 2024 from 1:00 pm.

We shall discuss an article titled "Challenges and Facilitators for HIV Testing Services and HIV Self-Testing Programming During Emergency Care in Kenya: A Qualitative Study of Patients". The study Applied the COM-B model that offers a theory-based approach to analyse the multi-level factors influencing testing behaviors. Ms. Juliana Namutungu a lecturer at Makerere University School of Public Health will chair the session and  the discussion will be led by Lawrence Nduhukyire, A master's ImS fellow. He holds a Master of Health Services Research. Lawrence currently works as a Public Health Promotions Officer at the Nsamizi-UNHCR Project, Nakivale Refugee settlement, Insigiro district Uganda and his research interests revolve around implementation research focusing on HIV and co-infections..
