Harnessing Development Research Partnerships and Collaborations that are Inclusive of underrepresented Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).

Speaker: Assoc. Prof. Umar Kakumba, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic Affairs), Makerere University.
Participants will gain an understanding of the role of HEIs from LMICs in contributing to development. In addition, the webinar session will provide an opportunity for participants to share lessons on partnerships/collaborations, including red flags for predatory partners. The discussions during this webinar will also include the sharing of vivid examples on how to best target and work with underrepresented HEIs in conducting development research. The session will include a keynote presentation followed by Q&A and discussions engaging participants. Suggested readers will be shared at the end of the session.
