As part of the activities to commemorate Makerere University's 100 years of existence, the Dean, School of Languages, Literature and Communication (SLLC), College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHUSS) cordially invites you to the school’s Centennial Celebrations
Date and Time: Friday 9th December, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EAT.
Celebration activities include two panel discussions:
Panel 1: Trends and Perspectives of Language Teaching at Makerere University.
Panel 2: Reflections on the Historical 1962 Literary Conference at Makerere University.
There will be a cultural performance in the afternoon (songs, dance and Poetry Recitations) in Kiswahili, Spanish, German, French, English, Chinese, Runyakitara, Luo, Madi, Luganda etc.
Come dressed in your traditional attire.
