The governments of India signed an MoU with the government of Uganda and the two selected Makerere University as the regional coordinating centre for broadcasting lectures to the other countries in the region and receiving lectures from India. The centre is coordinated by Amity University of India and Makerere.
The centre was set up at Makerere University and equipped with state -of -the- art facilities for tele education.
This is to invite you to the official launch of the project and the centre tomorrow Friday 12th November 2021 at the CoCIS at 4.00pm.
The ceremony will be presided over by the Indian Minister of State for External Affairs with a number of delegates from India. The Ugandan Minister of ICT and national Guidance and that of Education have also been invited.
The Vice Chancellor Makerere University, the Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Academics, the college Principals and other members of top management from Makerere university will also grace the occasion.
