The Hult Prize Foundation has created the world's largest student platform dedicated to solving the most pressing social challenes on the planet. Makerere Uninversity has been chosen to host the Hult Prize On-Campus competition, the quater final stage, where students answer the United Nations Challenge and go head-to-head to win the eventual US$1M prize.

74 Makerere University teams have been selected to take part in this year’s Hult prize international challenge.

Selected Teams are required to attend the Info Session organized by Hult Prize at Makerere, in partnership with ResilientAfrica Network (RAN) and the Monitoring and Evaluation Technical Support (METS) Program.

The session shall enlighten you on how best to convince the judges and woo the crowd into buying into your innovation and shall be a boost towards your presentation and pitching skills.

Please be advised that this exercise is part of the Hult Incubation program that shall guide you and your team on the rules governing the challenge and how the challenge shall be conducted.

The seminar themed, “Winning the Heart of the Judge and the Audience: The Science of presentation” is a personal development kit designed to guide you on how best you can make an award-winning pitch. It will include packages as;

  • Body composition and body language
  • Dress code
  • Team Roles
  • Vocal expression
  • Time management
  • Nutrition guidelines prior to presentation

All teams are required to come with the first template of their PowerPoint slides. Allocation of mentors shall be done during this session.
