We are pleased to invite you to the EU–Uganda Research and Study Fair set to be held on 8 October 2026 at Makerere University Freedom Square, from 8:30 to 16:30.

Organised by the Delegation of the European Union to Uganda, in collaboration with Makerere University, the Ministry of Education and Sports, and Team Europe partners, the Fair will showcase study and mobility opportunities, including Erasmus+ and other scholarship schemes, and promote research, innovation, skills development, and partnerships.

Research institutions are especially invited to the research session from 14:00 to 15:30, followed by the Student / Young Researcher Pitch Session from 15:30 to 16:30.

During the pitch session, pre-selected students and young researchers will deliver three-minute pitches on Global Gateway themes: digitalisation, climate and energy, transport, health, and education and research.

We welcome expressions of interest from interested students and young researchers.
