The Principal, College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHUSS) cordially invites the university community and the public to Prof. Kasaija’s Professorial Inaugural Lecture scheduled to take place on August 21, 2026 starting at 2.00pm in the University’s Main Hall.

Prof. Phillip Kasaija Apuuli is a professor of politics and international law at Makerere University’s Department of Political Science and Public Administration-specializing in international criminal law, security and peacebuilding.

He will be presenting on the topic, “Reflecting on the 2023 African Peace Mission to Ukraine and Russia".
