This seminar will present findings from a qualitative study exploring how equity is understood and experienced within the long-standing collaboration between Makerere University College of Health Sciences and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Drawing on in-depth interviews with both research and administrative staff, the study highlights how the dynamics of power, trust, and accountability are navigated, and how funder policies influence these relationships.
