As Makerere University repositions into a research led institution, the College of Education and External Studies (MakCEES) is prioritising graduate training, graduate research, supervision and mentorship.
According to the Principal of Mak CEES, Prof. Anthony Muwagga Mugagga, the College has organised a Graduate Students Symposium aimed at leveraging graduate training and research to position the graduate students at the centre of a research-led University.
HOW? Through involvement and engagement of graduate students in positioning graduate research to impact national and global trends, improving graduate supervision through strengthening supervisor-supervisee working relations as well as sensitization of graduate students on the graduate training terrain at Makerere University.
