As we bid farewell to Mr. Grace Wilson Igaga Mutekanga, a gallant alumnus and composer of our timeless Anthem (https://mak.ac.ug/about/anthem), Makerere University will hold a funeral service at St. Francis Chapel tomorrow Thursday 22nd August 2024 starting at 10:00AM.
Our Department of Performing Arts and Film, College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHUSS), where he taught between 1971-1973, 1975-1981 and 1986-1988 will pay hymnal and musical tribute during the service.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
