The Makerere University School of Law - Public Interest Law Clinic (PILAC) is working with the East Africa Network of University Law Clinics (EANULAC) to implement a project aimed at creating public awareness on freedom of expression. The project is supported by the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI).
One of the activities of the project is a Poetry Program where students are trained in the art of poetry. This is to invite you to an event where students will showcase their skills of poetry writing, reading, recitation and performance. An Anthology (Collection of Poems) on the Right to Freedom of Expression written by the students will also be launched and Certificates awarded to the authors.
