As part of activities to celebrate 100years of excellence, Makerere University is thrilled to announce the launch of the TUMUSIIME MUTEBILE ANNUAL PUBLIC LECTURE.
The inaugural Lecture will be held under the theme,
“Economic Recovery and Resilience in a post-Covid-19 world – the role of Higher Education Institutions.”

Keynote Speaker: Mr. Ramathan Ggoobi, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Finance Planning and Economic Development/Secretary to the Treasury
Moderator : Mr. Yusuf Kiranda, University Secretary, Makerere University.

Mr. Ggoobi will unpack the life and contributions of the late Prof. Emmanuel Tumusiime Mutebile while using his life’s journey and policies to identify opportunities for Higher Education Institutions to foster Economic Recovery and Resilience in a post-covid-19 world.
