The Makerere University Department of Performing Arts and Film (PAF) cordially invites you to a Public Lecture on Friday 7th February, 2020 from 10:00am to 1:00pm.

Presenter: Seth Sharp (A Singer, Vocal Coach, Director and DJ)

Topic: The Do-it-Yourself Musician: Making the most of working as an independent musician from marketing to sound production to remixing to collaborations to social media.

Seth Sharp is a Yale University graduate who has made music around the world. He performed for President Clinton and family at the White House; Mother Theresa in Calcutta, India, the Riga Opera House in Latvia and at the renowned Carnegie Hall in New York City. Seth has conducted master classes on behalf of the US State Department throughout Africa and in Europe and performed in a variety of venues. Notable performances include: FESPAM (the largest music festival in Africa), the Sarajevo Winter Festival, and the National Theater of Namibia. Seth has appeared in print media, radio and television in many countries and has a big following on social media! Seth lives in Reykjavik where he is a DJ, vocal coach and producer. His music can be found on Spotify.
