Brief About the RTAC - RAN  Webinar Session

The Webinar Session is hosted by one of the RAN partners - the Research Technical Assistance Center (RTAC). It is executed during a one hour and a half long Webinar. This Webinar is aimed at bringing together all the RTAC partners/stakeholders including USAID Missions, specifically researchers from different Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to learn, relearn and unlearn guided by the Webinar Topic.

The Topic to guide discussions during this Webinar Session is 'Research Management Systems: Setting Up and Managing Research and Innovation Systems in HEIs in Low and Middle -Income Countries (LMICs)'

Participants will gain an understanding of key practices and processes in setting up research and innovation systems. The session will include three presentations or what we might refer to as a Panel Discussion. It is during this presentation when three team members from the Center for Applied Research and Innovation in Supply Chain Africa (CARISCA) Project, implemented by the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana will share a high level presentation (50-55 minutes long) on the topic above.  Thereafter, they engage participants in a discussion including a Q & A session to further augment knowledge generation and sharing.
