The Department of Population Studies, Makerere University, the University of Groningen (Netherlands), The Federal German Institute for Population Studies and the Max Planck Institute of Demographic Research (Germany) have organized a workshop on

Ageing and health of older persons in sub-Saharan Africa (SSA)

Date and Time: 20^th - 22^nd February, 2023 from 9:00AM to 6:00PM each day.

This workshop brings together international and national participants from policy, programmes, academia, and some UN agencies including the UN DESA and the WHO. It is funded by the Volkswagen Foundation of Germany. There will be presentations of research and programmes on ageing and health in SSA.
