Environment for Development Initiative (EfD-Mak) Centre is set to host its first policy dialogue on governance and natural resources on 7th November, 2019 at the Senate Conference Room Makerere University.

Over 120 participants from public and private sector, research institutions, civil society organizations, representatives from government ministries and agencies, staff and student from Makerere University are expected to attend.

Representatives of the EfD secretariat based at Gothenburg University, Sweden are also expected to fly in the country to grace the occasion.

The half day dialogue organized under the theme, “Governance and Natural Resource Utilization: Challenges, Gaps and Opportunities” will be officially opened by Makerere University Vice Chancellor while the Key Note address will be delivered by the Executive Director National Environment Management Authority (NEMA).
