The Disability Law and Rights Centre, School of Law  has organized the 2nd Annual National Conference on Disability Law and Rights under the theme “LEAVING NO ONE BEHIND: PROMOTING ACCESSIBILITY AND INCLUSION OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN UGANDA.”

The conference is aimed at enhancing public awareness about the rights of persons with disabilities;   promoting the mainstreaming of disability rights in all Government policies, programmes and departments; to advocate for the promotion of participation and inclusion of persons with disabilities in the development agenda and to Disseminate research findings arising from studies conducted by the centre in various aspects of disability rights.

Date: Friday 25th October, 2019

Time: 8:00am – 5:00pm

The conference will bring together representatives from government agencies, DPOs, NGOs, members of academia, students and the general public.
