Makerere University is set to host the 2nd Kampala Geopolitics on 17th and 18th October 2019. On Wednesday, 31st July 2019, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the second edition was signed by the Vice Chancellor of Makerere University Prof. Barnabas Nawangwe, Ambassador of France to Uganda H.E Jules-Armand Aniambossou, Head of Finance at KAS, Ms. Rhona Rugambwa on behalf of the Organization’s Representative Mathias Kamp, Programme Specialist at UN Women Ms. Agrippiner Nandego and the Cultural Coordinator Alliance Francaise, Mr. Gerald Odil.
In line with the upcoming event, a press conference will be held in the Makerere University Council Room on Wednesday 2nd October, 2019 starting at 11:00am
The Kampala Geopolitics is organized by the Embassy of France in Uganda in partnership with Makerere University, Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Uganda and South Sudan, the French Institute for International and Strategic Affairs (IRIS), Alliance Francaise de Kampala and UN Women Uganda.
