Event Details

Makerere University Career Fair is scheduled for March 15th, 2024. The event is organized by the Makerere University Counselling and Guidance Center in collaboration with the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program, this event follows the success of a similar gathering in March 2023, which drew the participation of over 2,000 students and 20 employers and exhibitors, showcasing a promising growth trajectory.  Building on this momentum, our ambitious goal for the 2023 Career Fair is to engage with 10,000 students across the entire university. We are actively reaching out to a diverse range of employers, including parastatals, NGOs, and various companies, to ensure a comprehensive and enriching experience for both students and participating organizations.

Theme: Breaking Barriers and Finding Purpose.

The overarching objective of this event is to provide extensive support to students in navigating the transition to the professional world, aiming to alleviate anxiety associated with this significant life step. The theme for this year's event, "Breaking Barriers and Finding Your Purpose," underscores our commitment to empowering students in their career journeys.

We are excited to announce the upcoming launch of the event website, where you will find detailed information about the Career Fair, participating employers, and other pertinent details. Stay tuned for the unveiling of this valuable resource.
